How it began
LUCAV was born from a desire to create candles that are safer, cleaner, and more meaningful.
As candle lovers, we were tired of toxic, mass-produced candles. We discovered that many commercial candles are made using paraffin wax, which can release volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including benzene and toluene, along with ultra-fine soot particles into the air. We wanted something different — something safer, softer, and more luxurious.
At the same time, we noticed a growing appreciation for candles as more than just home décor. They had become a part of self-care rituals, cozy evenings, and moments of mindfulness. As consumer preferences evolved, so did the desire for products that combined wellness, sustainability, and beautiful design.
